After a dearth of

finished projects this year, I completed two within a week of one another.

Christmas Cracker was the first - a new pattern for me in a new yarn - a  chunky shawl for me in a bright, cheery red colour - just in time for Christmas.

It's knitted in garter stitch with a moss stitch border and has not a hint of pink (despite the colour in this photo).















The second was a return to an old favourite pattern in my Poshest of Posh Yarns.

Worked in 100% Merino Chunky in a vibrant Kingfisher Blue, this one's in need of a good blocking to open up the lace work and stitch definition.
