Snuggly shawl

Actual colour

I was tidying my yarn cupboard recently - as you do - and came across 4 skeins of Rowan Lima (aran weight) that I don't remember buying.

It's a lovely mix - 84% Alpaca, 8% Merino, 8% Nylon- in a very nice variegated purple colour.

There wasn't enough to make anything like a sweater but I wondered if it would make a lighter version of the chunky shawl pattern of which I'm fond.

I started it on 24th January and finished it yesterday. It's only slightly smaller than the chunky versions (of which I have one very Posh version with a cashmere fringe and one in an 'everyday' Homespun Yarn.

It's extremely snuggly and soft (the alpaca is even softer than cashmere) and MWNN likes the colour.
