I started this in November 2010. It was meant to be a Christmas present for my neice-in-law in Dublin. She chose the pattern and yarn herself when she visited in the autumn. As the year drew to a close, I 'frogged' it four times because I was making so many mistakes in what is a very simple four-row pattern that I have worked successfully many times without any problems.
I'm very pleased with the finished article, especially the way the weight of the fringe (1 skein of sock-weight Elinor Merino in colour 'Alchemy') adds to the length of the shawl.
