It's a kind of Magic

Socks - patterned socks - and I may have cracked how to knit from the top down without running out of yarn when making a longer leg than that defined by the pattern.

Also - Ravelry - I can share project pages with the world, thanks to Ravelry's 'share' button. Have a look at the details you can keep on your projects. Ideal for reference when you have forgotten things like needle size, amount of yarn, or even lost the pattern and need to print another copy.

I really love this pattern. It's made a snug-fitting sock. Thanks to my weighing the yarn at various construction points, I was able to make the first one knee-length with just 50g of yarn.

I have 53g of yarn for the second sock, so I plan to make a longer foot and continue until there are just 16 stitches for the toe as the first sock is a little too square-shaped.
