I joined the 'For me project' group on Ravelry because the shawl I'd earmarked for myself was never going to get started until I made time to knit it.
I also branched out and began a 'lacy' shawl pattern. It's in chunky homespun yarn leftover from the first triangular shawl. After 4 false starts, I finally conquered the use of stitch markers and the repeated block of rows that form the pattern. It's going well so far.
