Kilt Shawl

Sometimes, it takes the simplest of patterns to show off a really beautiful hand-dyed yarn.

I had planned to use my skein of Posh Martha, colour 'Kilt' on a pair of socks.

But then, I reasoned, I have 9 pairs of hand-knitted socks and don't really need more at the moment. Nor could I bear to hide these glorious colours in a pair of shoes.

So I worked a simple triangular shawl with lace panels. Et voila - simply stunning.

Now, can I bear to part with it, should the need arise?
