Having given MWNN my Shaker Shawl, I decided to knit a replacement.

I can't get Lion Brand Homespun easily any more. The 'UK' supplier is based in Malta and postage has become unreasonable.

Instead, I used James Brett Marble, an acrylic chunky yarn with many of the propertied of Homespun.

I'm hoping my Marbles shawl will grow, as the Shaker shawl grew, with wearing and washing. It may not reach the large proportions as the Shaker, as I used a size smaller needle.

Why Still have all my marbles? I was able to work the 7-row repeat without constantly referring to the pattern.
