What goes around, comes around.

I started this pattern in July last year.













By September 5th, I had finished the knitting and seamed the gilet - 95% of the WIP done.

Today, I finally wound-in the ends, having  blocked it last week. Blocking made a huge difference to the way it hangs.

I'm fairly pleased with the result. It's very close to the gilet I wore at a Posh wedding in 1972.


I've decided I'm going to buy some cross-grained ribbon with which to bind the edges.
