I have finished my Hermione socks.
The yarn I used was just perfect for this pattern.
I did get a little bored towards the end of sock number 2 - and have I said how much I hate working on dps, even though I am no longer scared by their double-pointyness?

I love how the colours pooled in this pattern! These look like the most comfortable and soothing pair of socks one could reach for on a bad day.
I wanted a textured pattern to break up the pooling. It's a really easy pattern to memorise and the socks are so comfy and quite supportive. I had enough yarn to knit a pair that come to a couple of inches below my knee.
Going to wear them to Red Hat events.
You will so get used to DPKNs.They take up such little space.I love wearing my hand knitted socks now it is getting colder.
I think I am getting used to them, but I still don't like them. All those points keep pointing ..... menacingly. ;D
