When I am old, I shall wear purple

I had this fabulous skein of Posh Yarn, 100% alpaca,in purple, just waiting for the right project. And then I thought -

I need a neck warmer to wear at Red Hatting events.

So I set to and clickety clacked my favourite scarf pattern until it had the pre-requisite number of repeats completed. The I cast off and, would you believe, it was time to go to lunch wearing the Red Hat.

The scarf needs a gentle blocking but I'm really pleased with how well it goes with the outfit I chose for today.
