New scarf pattern

I designed my first pattern last night and knitted it in less than 3 hours. It's very useful for all those odd skeins or parts of skeins you have over from other projects.
Superfast Scarf

First design

Skill Level:


Materials:


Yarn: 1-2 skeins of Lion Brand Homespun in colour of choice. I used up some Harvest and Ranch. You could use any chunky yarn.

Needles: 10 - 12mm

Pattern:

Cast on 24 stitches, loosely.
Rows 1-4 - Knit
Row 5 K2, (*YO, K2tog*) repeat from * to * to last 2 sts. K 2
Row 6 K
Repeat rows 5 to 6 eight more times.
Row 23 K
Repeat Row 23 until scarf measures 34" (87cm) or the length you would like.
Repeat Row 5 - 22
K 4 rows
Bind off loosely
