Knitting, like life, is just a matter of learning from mistakes

The shawl is neither gossamery nor lacy (apart from the bits I knitted at each end). Perhaps I should have used bigger needles? The yarn is nice and drapey but was difficult to work with when I made mistakes and the wrong yarn for this project. It’s also not easy to keep the tension constant - there are little ‘holes’ where none was intended. Might buy some beads to make it a little more ‘jazzy’.

I hated the finished article so much, I frogged it today

(Sunday 16th March). I now need a more suitable project for this yarn - Louisa Harding Impressions in goldy yellow. Suggestions?
