Seasonal Sparkles

This is another lacey shawl for Festiwool.

It's worked in Posh Pamela Sock weight yarn (Merino, Nylon, Stella Sparkle) and took ages to knit.

The colour called 'Pronounced man and wife by Elvis',  a joyous semi solid: soft crimson going into brick red, with tonal shading, and gold sparkle.

Despite the fact that I've worked the pattern before, I managed to make enough mistakes in the lace that it needed 'tinking back' three times.

The photo of the shawl doesn't show the sparkles as they appear in 'real life'. They are a lovely golden colour - a wonderful highlight to the almost solid burgundy-red colour of the yarn.
